Every estate is full of claims: numbers, superlatives, commitments, comparisons. Most were true when written. Almost none carry a source. Sage pulls each one out, looks for what supports it across the estate, and attaches a confidence — so a score is never just a score, it's a position that can be defended.
Sage doesn't arbitrate external truth. If your homepage claims 99.9% uptime, Sage won't ping your servers — he'll tell you nothing on your estate substantiates the number, that two case studies cite it differently, and that the source one of them links to no longer exists. What's verifiable, what's contradicted, what's orphaned: that's the fact-checker's job on an estate.
